Community care Urgent Care and Injury Center has been in business for
over 7 & 1/2 years. It was started in December of 1996 by four local
physicians who had a vision of a walk-in medical facility with a short
waiting period and a friendly staff. In August of 1999 they opened their
second doors with a facility in Rexburg. With both facilities receiving
such an excellent response from the public, our Rigby location soon followed
in April 2003. After years of success, Community Care now has 5 locations
to serve the public. The 2 Idaho Falls Family Emergency Centers joined
in November of this year, bringing more years of experience and great
medical care to our communities.
Between all 5 locations Community Care now has 15 physicians with 9 of
them as joint owners of Community Care, and 10 mid-level providers. The
hours are very convenient ranging in 8-12 hour shifts. At 5 of our locations,
patients have the convenience of not making an appointment and walking
in when the time best suites them. All of the locations will have the
new name Community Care Urgent Care and Family Practice.
Community Care specializes in non-like threatening medical conditions
and Family Practice. Community Care has board certified physicians who
are on staff that can treat anything from fractures and lacerations to
coughs and colds. Our quality team of healthcare professionals invites
